So Admin Pixel has always thought it a little tacky to posts announcements that show up at the top of every single board, so instead, we post our announcements here, as well as activity checks, so make sure you check this out every so often, or you might miss something important!

All your face claims, IM sign ups, and the player directory are here. You should check this out, preferably before you start on your application to make sure that your play-by isn't in use or anything of that nature. It tends to be a very helpful board. Also, please make sure you scuttle on over as soon as you've been accepted to stake your claims. If someone else uses it and you haven't claimed it, it's theirs, so don't forget!

All your plotting needs are here, from characters that you need, to plot ads to relationship maps. This is the place to go.

Some of us like a place to keep track of all our threads. Pixel finds them extremely handy. Because of this, there is a board for thread tracking. Enjoy it. Make good use of it.

This is where toby and sadie jackson live. It's really more of a little cottage thing, made of stone with two bedrooms and a single bathroom, but they have definitely made it home. Sadie is quite the little decorator, really, and has made the place pretty much adorable. This area is off limits to students, without permission.

This is, of course, where a lot of the students spend their time. The twelve by twelve foot box stalls are nice, and the cement aisle is nicely kept. There is also a tack room and feed room. Though the stables are altogether fairly clean it is still a barn.

A lot of students choose to ride here during the nice weather. It isn't used often for lessons, so it is usually open to students whenever they wish to ride.

The indoor is most often used for lessons, as they can continued uninterrupted by bad weather.

THis is mostly used by the instructors at DCR when they're working with their younger horses, although sometimes they'll do a lesson on groundwork or joining up or something in which case the lesson gets brought to the round pen.

This is where a lot of the horses get turned out when the weather's nice. They have assigned paddocks, though, as some horses get along better than others.

Deercreek Ranch owns some twenty miles of trails and your welcome to ride them pretty much whenever you like. Just be careful you don't get lost. If you do, though, most of the horses know the way home.

Claira's is the little local diner. Clara Bartlett owns the place, and she's been around for as long as anyone can remember. She's also always got the latest gossip about the locals. Everybody's name usually ends up coming off her lips at one point or another. However, she does serve the best pancake stack around.

Tuti Fruiti's is the local candy store. It's owned by a little old man and his wife who are absolutely in love with the kids of DCR. They're constantly giving the kids free candy. It's a wonder they're not all grossly overweight, as much as Mr. and Mrs. Stotes feed them.

The not so originally named Deer Creek Club is the only bar in town. They serve pretty good burgers here, but of course, the students of the ranch aren't allowed in, thanks to the alcohol. Getting caught here is a good way to get yourself kicked out of DCR, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

duh, it's k-mart. it's big, it's cheap, it sucks, and it's the only place to get anything worthwhile in this town. you can usually find most of the absolute necessities, though.

The 7/11 is, of course, the local gas station. The van usually stops here on its way back out to DCR, since it's a good 30 mile drive, and the kids all load up on junk food and soda pop.

Just that. A movie theatre. You know, they play movies and sell ridiculously expensive food, but sell popcorn you just have to have? Yep, you know it. DCR students get a discount though, so that helps cut down costs.

This is, obviously, the local tack store. You can find pretty much all your equine needs here. It's run by a young dark haired lady by the name of Stormy, and she knows what she's talking about, so if you need any help, you know who to talk to.
