Home of the Stags, Bucksnort County High School takes both Deercreek students and students from the rest of the county. After parents in the county complained the school over-emphasized sports some ten years ago, the school has gone to some lengths to increase academics and the arts and today is much more well-rounded. A rather old building, the school has been well-kept the past fifty years, though parts of the school are still highly antiquated. With only 500 students, getting lost in the crowd is pretty difficult to do, but not impossible.
