Face Claim: Taylor Swift- - so how did you end up here at Deer Creek?Well, let's see here. I am the western riding instructor here around Deer Creek. In all honesty, I kind of heard about Tobe and Sadie through word of mouth. I think I might have been their first employer, and I've been here pretty much since the beginning, helping out getting stuff cleaned up and ready for students.- - well, give us the full run down, your whole life storyOkay, my name is Adelle RaeAnne Sinclaire. I am nineteen years old, blond hair and blue eyes, ridiculously tall, at five feet and ten and three quarter inches (so just shy of six feet). I’m super outgoing, I talk too much, and I’m too trusting for my own good. I take everyone at face value—it rarely even crosses my mind that people might not do what they say they will. I mean, I do, but I’m just always willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes I get hurt, but I’ve found that if people think you trust them, especially people who aren’t usually found to be trustworthy, they want to hold onto that trust. At any rate, I’m people say I’m too trusting, and too generous. If I’ve got something to give you, I’ll offer it. I’m also loyal to a fault. You could absolutely rake me through the coals and I’d still come pick you up at 3 a.m. because you’re too hammered to drive home. I’m a major softie—I can’t stand to see anyone or anything hurt. I’ve got a major save the world complex. I feel like I need to save EVERYONE. It’s overwhelming sometimes. I feel like I’m letting people down if I can’t find a way to help them, even though it’s rarely my responsibility. In some ways, I wonder how I’m going to deal with this place, because I know I’m not going to be able to help every single kid I come in contact with. However, I am confident that God has led me here, and He will find a way to get me through it.
OH! That’s a major thing about me—I’m a Christian. I grew up in the South, Lafayette, Missouri, to be exact, and my whole family has this awesome history of faith that they passed on to me. I wear a purity ring that I feel naked without, and it pretty much just defines everything about me. Without my faith, I’d probably be a whoring, alcoholic bitch, no joke. My faith helps me keep my sanity. That’s all I have to say about it. Well, no, I could go on and on and on and on about it, but I’ll spare you. ; ) Anyway, pretty much everything I am leads back to that faith. My grandparents were all fantastic, too, strong faith. It’s just been handed down from generation to generation. My grandparents have always been a huge part of my life. Then again, you have to remember that I grew up in the Bible belt, where everybody says “yes sir” and “thank you ma’am” and church on Sundays is expected, so most of the people I was in contact with shared my faith.
My brother and I have always been best friends. We were homeschooled until his freshman year of high school. I’m two years younger, so I had to wait two years before I started high school at the county high school. I would have gotten into basketball, but by then, everybody had been playing since like third grade and I was just terrible, so I didn’t see a lot of point. I was able to pick up clarinet, in addition to my guitar, which was really cool. And I was able to get into high school rodeo—I’ve always loved going fast, whether it’s horses or cars, and my senior year, I was actually able to go all the way to nationals, which was really really awesome; by far one of the most amazing experiences of my life. In fact, that was doubly awesome because I got to use a horse that I had trained myself, my (at the time) five year old Mustang mare, Rosie. My family has always been so supportive of that. Speaking of, I should tell you about my family.
My family is so close. My mom, Miranda, is hands down my best friend. She was a debutante when she was young, and can totally do the whole polite thing, hosting parties, ladies tea, gorgeous ball gowns…thing! But she’s a total cowgirl at heart. She can get the most mistrusting horse to walk right up to her, it’s amazing, but she can totally cowboy the aggressive horses and ride out a buck like any great cowboy. Mostly, though, she’s just a total sweetie. She’s shy by nature, although most people wouldn’t realize that because she’s taught herself to be outgoing and the perfect hostess. My daddy, Johnson, is like a fifth generation horse trainer, so the ranch and the line of horses have all been in our family for like, over a hundred years. He’s exactly the opposite of my mom, totally outgoing, and a complete tease. I take after him a lot. I can pretty much strike up a conversation with anybody, but my dad will have their whole life story, with all the sorry, sordid details, in five minutes or less. There’s a song that fits my folks perfectly, “Where I call Home” by Blake Shelton. “Daddy don’t know a stranger, a handshake, and he’s your friend. And momma she’s an angel, holds you tight til the heartache ends.” My daddy is just like that—everybody loves him, and if somebody needs help or advice, they almost always end up calling him. And momma just loves everybody. Then there’s my brother, Tyler. He takes after mommy, totally. He’s shy and quiet, but a total sweetie, not a mean bone in his body. Everybody tells Ty what hurts eventually. He is my other best friend—nobody understands me, and people in general, for that matter, like Ty does. He rides horses like Momma does, calm and quiet.
As for me, I’m just out there, a totally open book, no secrets, what you see is what you get. I love tea parties, and dresses with cowboy boots. My whole family is musical, me and Ty and Daddy all play guitar, and Mom plays piano. Daddy sings bass, Ty sings tenor, I sing alto, and Momma sings soprano. We used to sing for church all the time. I love animals—pretty much anything with fur is gonna be fine in my book. I don’t do scales, though. I hate hate hate snakes. Toads and frogs and stuff I don’t particularly like, but I don’t mind them, either. I’m super outgoing, and tend to talk too much. I love rain and sunshine, and, as I said before, going fast. Just because I’m a virgin doesn’t mean that I don’t like guys, and I can appreciate a sexy piece of flesh just as much as the next girl. Obviously, I love people. I hate bratty kids and yappy dogs and snow, so I don’t know what I’m doing in Montana, because I hear that it snows most of the year here…haha, not really. I’m sarcastic, in case you hadn’t noticed.
Um. Gosh. I feel like that’s everything you need to know about me. I guess if there’s something else you need to know, feel free to ask.
