Doctor, doctor, give me the news!Sooo.. this here is Mr. Benjamin Lewis. Or should I say Dr. Lewis? He's twenty-eight, hails from New Orleans, and has his doctorate in pediatric and adolescent psychology. The guy is pretty friendly, really caring, but completely awkward when it comes to flirting (not that he'd do that with a patient or anything, I'm just saying). He's kind of a bookworm/nerd, however he's also very big in to riding, soccer, and baseball. So.. plots, anyone?

May I just say, thank you so freaking much for making a character who is an age appropriate doctor. I hate, hate, hate it when people have twenty-two year old doctors who graduated early and all that. So thank you. :)
Also, I was thinking, I added Benjamin as a boys' counselor, but what if we just made him the resident psychologist? Like, just a whole other position. Because the counselors do more hanging out with the kids and talking to them and Benjamin could be more of an actual psychoanalyst who sees boys and girls. Lemme know what you think. It was just a thought.
Now, I've got two kiddos, so let's see what we can do...
Mister Tobias Matthew Jackson && Doctor Benjamin Joseph Lewis So I'm totally seeing some friendship stuff going on here. They can chill and watch the game or whatever. Obviously, they'd have the boss/employee relationship there and maybe Benjamin is a bit resentful at times of Toby being younger but also his boss? Not really sure if that's realistic, but it's an idea. Also, if you plot him to be friends with Sadie, Toby has this tendency to get jealous of other guys for absolutely no reason when it comes to her, so I could definitely see some fun there.
Miss Eugenia Faith Williford && Doctor Benjamin Joseph Lewis So Miss Ginny is a whole treasure trove of issues that I daresay would delight Dr. Lewis. See, she grew up in a cult-like polygamist community that stays separate from the rest of the world. When she was thirteen she got married to a man in his late forties and had a son by him around ten months later. When law enforcement tore her life apart by taking away her husband and kid, she was devastated. Unsure what to do with her, they sent her here. She is, understandably, extremely confused and scared. While she currently does not understand that she was violated by her husband, I want her to ultimately come to this conclusion. She certainly has the emotions that say something was wrong, but all she knows is to get married young like that and be obedient, so she just needs that brought out of her.
Now, where I was going with that was just that especially if you like my plan to make him the resident psychologist Ginny would have to see him to talk to him. Or, if you really want him to remain the boys' counselor he could seek her out or something and they could end up forming a relationship out of his counseling her. Kind of a her looking up to him and him having a respect and desire to help her kind of deal. Also, Ginny has some serious man issues so while I'm not sure how they'll get off particularly, I could see her either being scared of him, or possibly becoming, well, emotionally interested in him out of confusion. The latter would be very juicy to play out, no? Dude, thinking about it, I so want that to happen, now. Like, a whole illicit affair would be epiccc. I don't know, that's up to you, but I for one am digging it. (If we did do the latter we would somehow end it before it got out so he could keep his job, of course.)

First of all: You are very welcome ^_^ I kind of merged two different characters together to get Ben, but I also researched a bit to see how long he'd have to be in school for his doctorate and all. Kind of fun research, to be honest, lol.
Resident psychologist sounds fun, and interesting. Could be that the counselors could come to him if they're concerned about one of the teens, or the teens come and see him for therapy/whatever if they need it.
Mr. Jackson & Dr. Lewis: Sounds pretty good ^_^ Guy friends, employer/employee kind of relationship sounds like it'd be almost expected since they both seem like similar guys. I don't know if Ben would become envious that someone younger than him is running the place, though during some of his "sour" moods he may find it odd that someone so young would do something like running a place like Deer Creek. And as for the friends with Sadie thing.. that could definitely add some fun aspects in to it.
Miss Williford & Dr. Lewis: First let me say that I loved reading Eugenia's bio (I stalked them all before applying) and I think her whole background was really unique. After that, I really like your ideas for the interaction between Ginny and Ben. He would reach out to her as a psychiatrist, but he'd also view her as someone that is in need of protection (his one kind of major flaw). While he's never become involved with a patient, I can see him being conflicted with her because of how confused and emotionally conflicted she is, so something could be bound to happen (though would obviously stop before compromising his job).

Woah! You actually research things for characters. I'm already starting to love you! (I totally do the same thing, haha.)
I went ahead and listed him as the 'resident psychologist' so we'll pretend he has his own special little room in the big house for his office, haha.
Mister Tobias Matthew Jackson && Doctor Benjamin Joseph Lewis I love it!
Miss Eugenia Faith Williford && Doctor Benjamin Joseph Lewis Aww, thankies! I kind of have an obsession with weird lifestyles like that. Anyway, I say we should definitely mess with their heads. I'm such a meanie when it comes to my characters; destroying their lives is what I do best, lol. So we can just see how they get along and whatnot. I definitely have some ideas in mind. :D
Do you by chance want to start some kind of thread for them? I don't mind starting, just know it might take a bit to get up. I'm sometimes slow with that kind of thing, depending on my schedule.

lol, I totally feel the love over here. I generally do research for characters when I have them doing something that I'm not 100% familiar with. I never want to seem like an idiot, lol.
Mr. Jackson & Dr. Lewis It seems that everything is all set for these fine gentlemen, then :)
Miss Williford & Dr. Lewis I believe the last time that I saw a relationship/history like hers it was on Criminal Minds or something, lol. And I do the same thing to mine. If I feel that their life is going too well.. then I add some drama their way. I'm sorry, you're too happy? Well here then.. be mugged or something.
I can get a thread up, it might take until Monday night though. It's getting very close to the end of term over here and I've got assignments due.. plus I'm not very active on weekends cuz that's when I give my boyfrand the attention he deserves <3

dr. lewis && mr. && mrs. jackson
i'm a drama queen, not gonna lie, and i think a bit of a jealousy plot between these three would be intensely fun. if sadie sorta kinda got to be friends with him and caused some jealousy for toby, i just think that would be fun. but maybe that's just me. :P
dr. lewis&& blaine
i can see blaine kind of coming to look up at ben as a role model figure, since he's never really had a steady man role model in his life, and starting to come to him for advice and stuff. so. nothing major or exciting, i guess. :)

Dr. & Mr. & Mrs. Haha, sounds like things could get interesting. I'm up for drama.. as long as nobody is killed or like.. whatever lol.
Dr. Lewis & Blaine Sounds good, Ben's always up for showing kids the right path, and he likes being a role model. So he'd probably make himself available for Blaine if the kid wanted to talk and stuff.
Also, so sorry for the delay. End of term is kicking my booty.
